Disaster recovery resources “Disaster preparedness: Because prepared- ness empowers,” a Web site (matrix.msu. edu/~disaster/) hosted by Michigan State University, contains a database listing experts, supplies, and services for disaster mitigation and recovery. It has recently been expanded to include resources available nationwide or in regions other than the Midwest. The da- tabase may be searched by location served or type of activity, and search results may be downloaded to a Microsoft Excel file for local use. The Web site administrator welcomes additional resource entries. 258C&RL News April 2006 mailto:alha@loc.gov www.solinet.net/home_templ mailto:jane_hedberg@harvard.edu
