Niamh McGuigan has been named head 
of reference services for the Lakeshore Cam-
pus at Loyola University-Chicago. 

Mary Oberlies is now social sciences 
liaison librarian, Arlington Campus Library, 
at George Mason University Libraries.

Laura Quilter has been appointed copy-
right and information policy librarian at Uni-
versity of Massachusetts-Amherst Libraries. 

Anne Reuland has been named assistant 
dean for technical services and planning at 
Loyola University-Chicago. 

Mark Schwartz is now communications 
and marketing officer at George Mason Uni-
versity Libraries.

Diane Smith has been appointed as-
sociate university librarian for research and

Shane Turner has been named director

the New York Public Library, has retired as 
head of information services of its Science,

rector of technologies at Z. Smith Reynolds

James B. Harper has been appointed Z.
