Anna Beth (Crabtree) Morgan has been 
named executive director of the Mayo Clinic 

Libraries. Morgan will 
primarily work in Roch-
ester, Minnesota. She 
will also have admin-
istrative responsibility 
for the Mayo libraries in 
Arizona, Florida, Iowa, 
and Wisconsin. Before 
joining the Mayo Clinic, 
Morgan served as the 
associate vice presi-
dent for Academic Re-

sources and director of the library for Union 
University in Jackson, Tennessee (2009–16). 
Prior to her employment in Tennessee, 
Morgan was technical services librarian for 
Missouri Southern State University (2007–09) 
and director of Medical Library Services for 
St. John’s Health System in Springfi eld, Mis-
souri (1985–06). 

Marilia Antúnez has joined the Univer-
sity of Akron in the Science and Technology 
Library as life and allied health sciences 
librarian with the rank of assistant professor 
of bibliography. 

Jayne Blodgett has joined the University 
Libraries Dean’s Offi ce as assistant dean at 
the University of Northern Colorado.

Frances Chu has been appointed clinical 
liaison and content librarian at the University 
of Washington Libraries. 

Emy Decker has been named the next-
gen public services manager at the Georgia 
Tech Library.

Anne Gaynor is the new metadata librar-
ian at the University of Houston Libraries. 

Michaela Willi Hooper is the new schol-
arly communication librarian and assistant 
professor at the Oregon State University  
Valley Library. 

Sarah E. North has been appointed assis-
tant director of the Casper College Goodstein 
Foundation Library in Casper, Wyoming.

Seth Porter has been appointed the social 
sciences librarian at the Georgia Tech Library.

M. Brooke Robertshaw has been named 
assessment librarian at Oregon State Univer-
sity’s Valley Library.

Jacqueline Solis is now director of Re-
search and Instructional Services at the Uni-
versity of North Carolina-Chapel Hill Library.

David Tolmie is now repository manage-
ment librarian at the University of Washington 
Libraries.

Adam Townes is the new research sup-
port coordinator at the University of Houston 
Libraries.

Emilie Vrbancic has been appointed 
undergraduate experience librarian at the 
University of Washington Libraries. 

Retirements

Nancy Gauss, director of library services at 
Western State Colorado University, after more 
than two decades at the library and eight 
years as director, will retire June 30, 2016.
