Estorino has been appointed direc- tor of the Louis Round Wilson Library and associate university librarian for special col- lections at the University of North Carolina- Chapel Hill (UNCCH) Library. Estorino was most recently vice-president of museum collections at HistoryMiami Museum, in Mi- ami, Florida. Before that, she spent 14 years in increasingly responsible positions at the University of Miami Libraries, conclud- ing in 2013-15 as the Esperanza Bravo de Varona Chair of the Cuban Heritage Col- lection. She has also held librarian and archivist positions at the Miami-Dade Public Library Sys- tem, the Massachu- setts Historical Society, and the Northeastern University Libraries. Estorino has written and presented widely about collecting and preserving Cuban and Latino heritage materi- als, and is a member of the advisory board for the journal Cuban Studies. She was the program director and subsequently principal investigator for “Enhancing and Expanding the Reach of the Cuban Heritage Collection,” a $2.4 million grant from the Goizueta Foun- dation, and she has provided professional consultation services to numerous museums and archives. Dobrowolski has been ap- pointed assistant director of collections and access services for the Special Collections Research Center at the Syracuse University Libraries. Joshua Hutchinson has been appointed as cataloging and metadata librarian at the University of California-Irvine Libraries. Haley Lott is now outreach and public services librarian at Lynchburg College. Rebecca Shows is now manager of information and education services at Levy Library, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Stan Trembach has joined the Library Research Services Department as the educa- tion librarian at the University of Northern Colorado’s University Libraries. Retirements Patricia S. Banach, director of library services at Eastern Connecticut State Uni- versity for the past 13 years, is retiring ef- fective February 1, 2017. Banach previously worked for 31 years at the UMass Amherst Libraries. Maria R.
