Dear Readers and Authors,

It is with great satisfaction we present to you the fourth issue of 2018 of the sci-
entific quarterly Copernican Journal of Finance & Accounting. 

I would like to give thanks to the Authors, Reviewers, Members of the Scien-
tific Council and the Editorial Team for your special contribution to the devel-
opment of the journal.

Copernican Journal of Finance & Accounting as a place for the exchange of 
academic thought creates an opportunity for the presentation and discussion 
of the current and important problems of economy and finance. Scientists from 
various academic centres from Poland and abroad have prepared the articles 
that make up this publication. In the current issue you can read articles about 
the wealth management market in China, the social background of Brexit, and 
about the inf luence of crypto currency on the economy of Georgia. You will be 
able to find articles about promoting the transparency of the economic process 
by accounting, and about the importance of financial reporting for individual 
investors. One of the articles is devoted to the legal and economic approach of 
the financial stability of local government units. The subject of another arti-
cle concerns the measurement of profitability of corporate social responsibil-
ity activities. In the journal, an article relating to the role and consequences of 
banks using sales techniques such as cross-selling and up-selling is also pre-
sented.
