Other studies have proven that successful periodontal therapy for periodontitis patients helps improve serum markers of systemic inflammation and metabolic control.39 These results indicate that periodontal health maintenance should be included in care plans for diabetic patients, especially during the COVID-19 pandemic.	cache/mkg-40637.pdf	txt/mkg-40637.txt
