 This is volume 2 of Dentistry 3000. This means the journal survived its first year and the inherited chal-
lenges to sustain its activities over time. The journal has received contributions from investigators based in 
several countries, and authors have enjoyed timely peer-reviews and publication without any publishing costs.  
Both volumes of the journal include topics of craniofacial development, craniofacial disorders, and endodon-
tics. 

 We are in the process of indexing the journal in Medline and PubMed, and some authors have deposited 
their papers in PubMed Central, which allows for these papers to be found in the PubMed website search 
tools. 

 Dentistry 3000 is a journal with the modern concept of open access to the world using a format that 
dates from the time libraries in universities would keep scientific journals. This philosophy allows for papers to 
be published based on their merit and not on what the potential interest a given article will generate among 
the readership that pays for membership fees. 

 We are looking forward to receiving your future contributions to Dentistry 3000 in the many years to
