Arabic, the sixth most spoken language in the world, plays a key role in international relations, business, art and religion. However, learning Arabic is challenging due to its unique grammar, spelling and pronunciation. In this regard, effective methods of teaching Arabic are becoming the subject of active research. Purpose of this study- analyze modern methods of teaching the Arabic language, evaluate their effectiveness and determine the most successful approaches. We hope that our findings will help Arabic teachers improve their teaching methods and promote successful Arabic language acquisition by students of various ages and skill levels. The basis of traditional methods in teaching the Arabic language consists of memorization, repeated repetition and detailed analysis of grammar, which is given much attention in the learning process, work on text works. According to the traditional method, there are complexes of certain books and collections of rules that are usually memorized, and to understand these rules, commentaries on these books are used, through which the student not only memorizes the rule, but deepens into its understanding theoretically and analyzes it using practical examples. Traditional methodshave their critics, and it should be noted that comments about the inconsistency of some of the methods are not always justified and occur due to a lack of understanding of the purposes of using these particular methods. Let's take, for example, the letter-syllable method, which is used to teach reading and consists of pronouncing the names of each letter, the vowel, then the syllable, then the following syllables are read in the same way, and only after that the whole https://eglobalcongress.com/index.php/egc E- Global Congress Hosted online from Dubai, U. A. E., E - Conference. Date: 29th May 2024 Website: https://eglobalcongress.com/index.php/egc ISSN (E): 2836-3612 26 | P a g e word is pronounced together. Criticism of this method is based on the perceived unnecessary waste of time on unnecessary pronunciation of the names of the constituent components of a single word, instead of immediately moving on to adding letters into syllables and reading the complete word. This criticism of the traditional method takes place due to a misunderstanding of the purpose of such a technique, which is the following: reducing errors in reading, and confusion among similar letters that are the same in shape, differing only in the presence and number of dots and their location [1]. Modern teaching methodsit is not just learning the context of the textbook, but using a combination of different teaching techniques depending on what skill the students are developing. The first and main skill that should be emphasized when learning using modern methods is listening and speaking, then grammatically correct writing and reading. The first two skills can be successfully developed only with auditory- oral methods. While the other two are developing in methods of teaching grammar and translation [2]. There are many methods of teaching Arabic, each of which has its own advantages and disadvantages. If we describe the methods of teaching the Arabic language depending on what exactly is used in teaching, then we can highlight the following 5 main modern methods: 1. Methods of teaching Arabic using multimedia- This method uses multimedia technologies such as video, audio and interactive exercises to teach Arabic. This method can be especially useful for visual and auditory learners. 2. Methods of teaching Arabic using online courses- This method uses online courses to teach Arabic. This method can be especially useful for students who do not have access to traditional Arabic classes. 3. Methods of teaching Arabic using social networks- this method uses social networks to teach Arabic with the goal of learning the language through interaction with native speakers and exposure to media on various topics. This method can be especially useful for students who want to improve their communication skills in Arabic [3]. 4. Methodology for teaching Arabic using learning tasks- this method involves solving problems and projects in the Arabic language being studied. For example, tasks on understanding the text and describing its content, tasks on grammar, pronunciation, drafting, etc. https://eglobalcongress.com/index.php/egc E- Global Congress Hosted online from Dubai, U. A. E., E - Conference. Date: 29th May 2024 Website: https://eglobalcongress.com/index.php/egc ISSN (E): 2836-3612 27 | P a g e 5. Methodology for teaching Arabic using gamification- this method of using games and gaming technologies for non-game purposes, one of which today is teaching the Arabic language. Gamification can be used for any age, but not all game mechanisms may be suitable for all students [4]. For a better understanding of the topic of work, we will additionally describe the following classification of teaching methods with a concise description of each of them: 1. Reproductive visual method: This method focuses on understanding and remembering ready-made language patterns. Students learn language through reproduction (repetition) of ready-made phrases, dialogues and texts. Visual aids such as pictures, charts, and tables help with learning. 2. Communicative method:The main emphasis here is on communication. Students learn to use language in real situations by communicating with each other. Grammar and vocabulary are studied in the context of real communication, and not in isolation. 3. Heuristic (search) method: This method challenges students to seek knowledge on their own. The teacher stimulates their curiosity, helps them formulate questions and find answers. The heuristic method develops critical thinking and self-learning skills. 4. Innovative methods: Various modern approaches are included here, such as the use of technology, interactive applications, online courses and gamification. Innovative methods enrich the learning process and make it more interesting and effective. 5. Case method: This method is used to analyze real situations and problems. Students consider specific cases, discuss them, look for solutions and draw conclusions. The case method develops analytical and problem-oriented skills. 6. Interactive methods: This includes games, role-plays, discussions, group projects and other activities that encourage communication and interaction among students. Interactive methods make lessons livelier and more exciting. 7. Method of foreign language intercultural teaching: This method helps students understand the cultural characteristics of the countries where the target language is spoken. Students learn not only the language, but also cultural norms, traditions and customs. 8. Telecommunication seminar method: This method uses communication media (e.g. video conferencing, online chat) for learning. Students can https://eglobalcongress.com/index.php/egc E- Global Congress Hosted online from Dubai, U. A. E., E - Conference. Each of these methods has its own advantages and disadvantages: 1. Gamification: - Advantages: Helps students learn better, maintains attention through intrinsic motivation, social interaction, creative exploration, ability to fail, development of related digital skills. - Flaws: may be ineffective depending on the game, may occur if it has a long distance, countdown mechanisms used in games may cause anxiety, and a drop in self-esteem upon failure and further refusal to participate in the game, as well as open ratings. Also, game elements that will be used for the sake of the game itself, and not for learning, can harm the learning process [6]. 2. Methods of teaching Arabic using multimedia: - Benefits: May be especially useful for visual and auditory learners. Using videos can help students improve their listening and comprehension skills in Arabic. Audio materials can help students improve their pronunciation and understanding skills in Arabic. Interactive exercises can help students improve their reading and writing skills in Arabic. Additionally, the use of multimedia can make learning more interesting and engaging for students. This can help students stay interested in learning Arabic and motivate them to study further. - Disadvantages: One of the main disadvantages of this technique is that it can be very expensive as it requires the use of special equipment and software. Additionally, the use of multimedia may not be effective for students who prefer more traditional learning methods such as reading and writing. Finally, the use of multimedia may not be effective for students who have limited access to computers and the Internet [7]. 3. Methods of teaching Arabic using social networks: - Benefits: Can be especially useful for students who want to improve their communication skills in Arabic. Social media can also help students improve their reading and writing skills in Arabic as they can read and write messages and comments in Arabic. Additionally, using social media can help students improve their listening skills in Arabic as they can listen to audio and video recordings on various topics that interest them. Finally, the use of social media can help students improve their skills in the culture and history of the Arab world, as they can https://eglobalcongress.com/index.php/egc E- Global Congress Hosted online from Dubai, U. Also, the use of social networks can be unsafe in terms of the content itself, as well as communication with unknown people. This disadvantage especially concerns children and adults who lack knowledge about the rules and recommendations for the safe use of the Internet and social networks. Using social media may not be effective for students who do not have access to the Internet or do not have social media accounts. 4. Methods of teaching Arabic using online courses: - Benefits: Can be especially useful for students who do not have access to traditional Arabic classes. - Disadvantages: the cost of such courses may exceed the capabilities of students. 5. Methods of teaching Arabic using educational tasks: - Advantages: One of the main advantages of this technique is that it can help students understand and remember the material better as they can apply their knowledge in practice. Additionally, the use of problems can help students develop their critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Makes the student the center of the educational process - Disadvantages: Students' communication and writing skills will suffer if this technique does not use tasks that correspond to real-life situations, or if students are focused only on memorizing rules, texts and notes, without practicing the language in real-life situations. The choice of methodology depends on the characteristics of the students, their expectations, requirements, cultural and social background, etc. Therefore, to select or create a methodology, it is first necessary to find out what the characteristics of the target audience of our teaching methodology are, and, in accordance with the analysis obtained, select an algorithm for teaching actions [8]. Having examined different methods and determined their effectiveness, we can conclude about the importance of innovation and modern approaches in teaching, as well as the need to adapt methods to the conditions in which learning takes https://eglobalcongress.com/index.php/egc E- Global Congress Hosted online from Dubai, U. In order for the teaching of the Arabic language to be effective and the methods to be modern, the following principles must be observed: Interactivity: Teachers must actively involve students in the learning process, using available modern technologies, interactive tasks and communicative practices. Contextual adaptation: Methods should take into account the cultural background and needs of students, as well as their purposes for learning Arabic (for example, for work, travel, religion or academic purposes). Personalization: Teachers should adapt materials and methods to the level of knowledge and ability of each student. In order for techniques to remain relevant and effective, it is important to constantly update them. To conclude this thesis, it can be emphasized that modern methods of teaching Arabic must be flexible, innovative and focused on the needs of students to ensure the successful acquisition of this important language References: 1.
