Charmot & O’Malley (1994) mention four reasons of teaching reading comprehension in the content area rather than in isolation because content provides students with an opportunity to develop important knowledge in different subject are; students are able to practice the language functions and skills needed to understand, discuss, read about, and write about the concept developed; many students are more highly motivated to learn when they are learning content rather than isolated language skills; content provides meaningful context for teaching learning strategies.	cache/eej-21406.pdf	txt/eej-21406.txt
