esutjss-217	Sinebe, Michael Tonbraladoh	Boardroom Dynamics and Firm Performance in Nigeria	2024	14	.pdf	application/pdf	6137	311	44	This research seeks to adopt a multivariate analytical approach in order to examine the combined effects of board size, board meetings, board independence, and board ownership on firm performance (using Tobin’s Q as a proxy for firm performance). This suggests that an increase in board independence may be associated with a decrease in firm value, as measured by Tobin's Q. Other governance characteristics, such as board size, frequency of board meetings and board ownership, do not show significant influence on firm performance.	cache/esutjss-217.pdf	txt/esutjss-217.txt
