Results and discussion Recently we have reported the synthesis of 2‐hydroxy‐ and 2‐amino‐6‐substituted‐5‐arylazonicotinates dyes [14‐16]. In continuation of our research the disperse dyes 6 and 8a‐ d were applied to polyester fabrics at dye shades 1 and 3% using high temperature high pressure dyeing method (HT) at 130 °C.
