It gives me great pleasure to convey this message along with my greetings and best wishes

to all of the participants in this Special Dedication Volume of the European Journal of Pure and

Applied Mathematics (EJPAM), who have offered their worthy research contributions to this

Volume. I am happy and honoured by the gesture shown by the editors of EJPAM (especially

by its Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Dr. Eyup Cetin) in dedicating this special volume to my 70th birth-

day. The hard work and whole-hearted efforts by the editor, Prof. Dr. Alan Huckleberry,toward

the success of this special volume are also worthy of admiration and appreciation. I am sure

that Professor Huckleberry has had to go through a rather dificult task in selecting only a

limited number of papers out of the many good submissions that were offered for this special

volume.

Finally, on behalf of the editors of EJPAM and on my own personal behalf, I welcome you

all to this Special Dedication Volume of EJPAM and I wish each one of you a remarkably suc-

cessful and fulfilling professional career.
