The Canadian Library Association/Association 
canadienne des bibliothèques (CLA/ACB) is 
offering Library Research and Development 
Grants totalling $1,000 to members. These 
grants: 
 
* support theoretical and applied research in 
the field of library and information services 
* encourage and support research undertaken 
by practitioners in the field of library and 
information services 

* promote research in the field of library and 
information services by and/or about 
Canadians 
 
The deadline for submission of proposals is 
February 28th, 2009.  Proposals are limited to 
four pages in length.
