EDITORIAL 

 

Since my appointment as a new Editor-in-Chief of Facta Universitatis: series Electronics 

and Energetics, in October 2013, we have published the series of three special anniversary 

issues dedicated to the journal’s majestic age of a quarter of century. The published papers 

in special anniversary issues not only met the goals consistent with our focused aims, but 

have surpassed our expectation in quality and practical value.  

Over the past year, we were receiving submissions and publishing papers from a very broad 

geographical area, making Facta Universitatis: series Electronics and Energetics a truly 

international journal. However, our job is not finished yet and the journal will be improved 

further. This is the fun part of this job, often it is the journey that is more enjoyable than the 

destination itself. 

This issue, the first one in the series of the forthcoming regular issues, is a collection of 5 

invited papers by well-known experts for the specific areas, most of them being the members of 

the Advisory Board and Editorial Board, and 7 research papers by the authors from Serbian 

academia environment, who present and discuss the state-of-the-art issues of practical interest in 

the field. 

On behalf of our Editorial Team, I promise to continue to develop and improve Facta 

Universitatis: series Electronics and Energetics in order to keep it at the forefront of science 

and technology.
