Sakvarelidze1, A. Bereznyakova,2 E. Kemertelidze1 1TSMU Iovel Kutateladze Institute of Pharmacochemistry 2Kharkov National University of Pharmacy Abstract The chemical composition of lipids from the seeds of the Paliurus spina – christi Mill. attracted attention due to the presence of oxo-, oxy- and epoxy-acids in their native form. Eicosenic acid in lipids of Paliurus spina –christi is the for first time for plants of the family Rhamnaceae. -sitosterol - 66%, stigmasterin - 13% and campesterin - 11% are found in the neutral part of fruit lipids. Neutral lipids from the fruits of the Paliurus spina – christi, characterized by regenerative properties, are provided to be used as a wound-healing and anti-inflammatory agent in the treatment of proctitis.
