Public art and street art, which carry the specific content of urban art, are defined. The specifics of various unique artistic methods are reviewed, by which urban art implements aesthetic, social, cultural, educational projects. Appropriate conclusions are made and probable development perspectives are set. Keywords: urban art, public space, public art, street art, city design.
