8528 (Online) is an international open access and peer-reviewed journal, published by Department of Geography 

Education, University of Jember, Indonesia. Geosfera Indonesia  welcomes  High Quality Original Research Articles, 

Short Communications, and Review Articles written by researchers, academicians, professional, and practitioners from 

all over the world about : (1) Geography Education, (2) Geography (Physical Geography and Human Geography), (3) 

Geographic Information System (GIS), (4) Remote Sensing, (5) Environmental Science, and (6) Disaster Risk Reduction. 

It is published three times a year in April, August, and December. Geosfera Indonesia is accredited by the Ministry of 

Research, Technology and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia (RISTEKDIKTI), No. 30/E/KPT/2019 (2017-
