This is a hospital based cross sectional study in which 200 hypertension patients reported in national institute of siddha are selected by checking their blood pressure, patients are given with a set of questionnaire about their personal history, such as food habits, hobbies, occupational and socioec onomic status, level of stress, depression, treatment history , family history and also their disease history This study was approved by Institutional Ethical Comity of National Institute of Siddha , and registered in Clinical trials registry in india.
