JR. INFANTSEE AWARD

Congratulations to John 
Tassinari, O.D., the 2025 Sullins 
Award Recipient!

This award recognizes an 
individual doctor of optometry 
who has made significant 

contributions to optometry or his/her community for outstanding 
public service involving the InfantSEE program. Honoring Dr. 
Sullins’ inspiring and passionate leadership as a driving force in 
optometry, the award started as a memorial fund established after 
his 2005 passing.

The award will be presented during Optometry’s Meeting®, June 
25-28, 2025 | Minneapolis, MN

DISASTER RELIEF

Optometry’s Fund for Disaster 
Relief has changed the lives of 
many optometrists by providing 
immediate financial relief for 
critical and urgent needs, such as 
food, clothing, and shelter.

Disasters are unpredictable 
and can be life-altering; it is our 

goal to ensure that the fund is always poised and ready to help, so 
doctors can get back to doing what they do best – providing eye 
and vision care to their community.

Doctors and students who have property damage to 
their home or practice can apply for a disaster relief grant 
at aoafoundation.org/our-programs/optometrys-fund- 
for-disaster-relief.
