Since our findings indicate that both race/ethnicity and family income are associated with asthma status, albeit probably through separate pathways, they add to existing suggestions for further research to determine the particular mechanisms through which the effects of race/ethnicity are carried to disparities in asthma prevalence.	cache/dialog-188.pdf	txt/dialog-188.txt
