Thus, in the late 1980´s almost 80% of the residents of the Slovak capital sett led in pre-fabricated housing estates of which Petržalka was the biggest one with almost 140 thousands inhabitants (not only in Slovakia but in Central Europe as well) (Moravčíková, H. et al. 2011).
