Language is a tool that everyone uses to build a communication interaction to provide information and others. Language consists of language varieties, and language http://u.lipi.go.id/1457703302 mailto:dewi.sitompul2000@gmail.com mailto:sondang58manik@gmail.com mailto:ronyarahta.sembiring@uhn.ac.id IDEAS, Vol. 12, No. 1, June 2024 ISSN 2338-4778 (Print) ISSN 2548-4192 (Online) 69 varieties are related to grammar. When using this, communication occurs. In the communication that occurs, there is also a name for dialogue or conversation between one person and another to express the language in the right language or language style. Language plays an important role and is also a means of communication in people’s lives around the world. It’s interested in how we speak differently and how we use certain functions to convey the meaning or aspects of our identity. Everyone has their own language style and has a different way of conveying. Its role can be as a communication tool between one person and another as a speaker, new giver, receiver, or information distributor. In addition to providing information, communication is also used as a socializing tool to do anything and create interaction in society. The science that studies this topic is sociolinguistics, which focuses on the influence of the use of any and all aspects of language. Including cultural norms, expectations, and context for using the grammatic languages in society Sociolinguistics explains that languages have many variations or styles. Therefore, the use of language among speakers or groups of speakers will be a major concern. There are still many people who use or say the wrong grammar, regardless of the context, conditions, or situations that are ongoing or will take place. Which are several variations that are usually incorrectly used or occur, namely in the pronunciation of word accents, choice of words, or preferences for certain language patterns. The use of precise, structured, or meaningful language is something that is still a problem for many people. Basically, the writer is a person who is careful in giving opinions, responses, or understandings of something. because we must know or understand the situation that is happening. who we are talking to, what things to talk about, and how to give responses or opinions to them? Using the right language, such as formal and informal sentences, is very important in dealing with everything. Because of what we think, feel, and even experience in solving problems, sometimes we cannot control our thoughts and words. As we see and feel in the new era today, a lot of people use language inappropriately, at the wrong time, with the wrong people, and even in the wrong place. It is so difficult for us to control every word by word based on the correct context time. Old, young, teenagers, adults, and even children's levels at this time of the right language are very low. Even in the current situation, people are more likely to misuse language. There are several things that cause the use of language that is very unstructured and does not even use language attitude properly. such as the absence of affirmation of the use of language properly, teaching or education in language that is lacking from parents, deep negligence in language, and the enforcement of learning the proper use of language in social life in the environment. Dewi Sartika Sitompul, Sondang Manik, Rony Arahta Sembiring Language Style Analysis as Found in Come the Morning Movie A Sociolinguistics Study 70 With all the above explanations, in order to write and conduct research on language style, it will not only apply to researchers, students, lecturers, and even researchers on this topic. The goal is for the writer to be wiser, braver, more directed, confident, and structured to apply different language styles in different contexts and circumstances. It can be concluded that language style is a very broad and deep science, even though it looks very easy for those who do not study and research it wisely. Method In this research the author used qualitative descriptive methods to process research and carry out analysis to make this research process a success. The purpose of this research is to analyze and explore language styles. This study uses Keraf's theory of fourteen figurative languages, using objects from the film 'Come the Morning' by Billy Graham. The data that be analyzed in this study is from a film entitled 'Come the Morning' by Billy Graham. This film's duration is one hour and seven seconds. It was premiered on September 3, 2022, by Billy Graham's personal Youtube Channel. In collecting data, the writer took some steps to analyzed the data, and the source of the data is taken from a movie entitled "Come the Morning" by Billy Graham. The write classified the data based on the language style described by Keraf, which discusses about fourteen language styles. In data analysis, the writer used several techniques to make an accurate data analysis. Research Findings Table 1. The percentage of language style used by Keraf theory. Among the four types of language styles, the dominant type is assonance style (25%), and the second is climax and personification style (13%). From the results of this study, the most widely used language style is found in the percentage results, namely assonance style. Based on the data that has been analyzed from the movie Come the Morning Created by Billy Graham as the object of research. This research studies the styles of language types that using Keraf’s theory. The language style consists of 14 language styles. They are parable style, metaphor style, personification style, antithesis style, hyperbole style, climax style, sitir style, allusion style, erotic style, assonance style, chiasmus style, epizeukis style, epistropha style, anaphora style. Based on the results of the data research found in this analysis, a variety of language styles have been identified. The type of language style is found in a film entitled Come the Morning, which was created by Billy Graham as a pastor in a church. The results of the research found are as follows: parable style 10%, metaphor style 1%, personification style 13%, antithesis style 3%, hyperbole style 4%, climax style 13%, sitir style 11%, allusion style 1%, erotic 10%, assonance style 25%, epistropa style 1%, epizeukis style 3%, and the last is anaphora style 5%. In this study, no use of the Chiasmus language style was found. After analyzing the data, the most dominant language style is assonance (25%). because it was found that there was a use of linguistic words, which was a way of conveying it through expressing a message or something in an imaginative way, and this was a way for the writer to express his feelings. After conducting data research, the author also did not find a style of language that reversed the grammatical structure or words that were in sequence but had no repetition. In this study, it is certainly different from the others. because the main guiding object in this study is a family-nuanced film. So, after researching, I found that the main character, Constance Gibson, uses a lot of words to convey messages or feelings that she feels at that time. Therefore, this film relies on good speech in accordance with the guidelines, namely the Bible. Dewi Sartika Sitompul, Sondang Manik, Rony Arahta Sembiring Language Style Analysis as Found in Come the Morning Movie A Sociolinguistics Study 72 After doing the research, the writer also makes a comparison between the results of the data analysis found by the author and the results of the data analysis that has been carried out from one of the previous research studies that I have listed, named Vania. In her thesis, she analyzes the language styles found in a dialogue film entitled "Mimpi sejuta Dolar" by Merry Riana. Looking at the results of the research she has done on the fourteen language styles with Keraf's theory, it is found that in her research, antithesis style becomes the dominant type of language style that is widely be used. Therefore, the difference between the thesis that has been reviewed by him and the results of the research that I found is very different, and the dominant type is assonance (25%). In the results of this study, assonance is the highest-listed result, or many used the assonance language style. Conclusion After finishing analyzing and re-researching the language style using Keraf's theory of the fourteen types of language, from the family film titled come the morning created by Billy graham. Below as the following step as the conclusion: 1. After obtaining the results through conducting research on a film entitled Come the Morning, we have obtained the results that use several language styles based on Keraf 's theory, which is divided into 14 language styles. 2. There are four kinds of language styles found with one hundred data points obtained through the film in the morning. The four language styles are assonance style (25%), climax style (13%), erotic style (12%), and personification style (13%). 3. The most dominant language style found in the film Come the Morning by Billy Graham is assonance style (25%). The reason is because the story uses a lot of words to express a message, or words conveyed using sentences that express feelings imaginatively or classically. The words are also many and addressed to the creator, Jesus Christ, the Almighty God. The use of words contained in the film Come the Morning by Billy Graham is the most dominant language style that to be used in the word is assonance style 25%. Because in every journey of life they go through, they are still taught to hold on to their faith and beliefs. Everything has its time and will be beautiful in its time. The almighty God will always be there and will never leave us, even in difficult circumstances. He is the helper of all who come to him. It’s also because uses a lot of words to express a message, or words conveyed using sentences that express feelings imaginatively or classically. whereas the 13% climax of the style is to express a sequence of thoughts in which each time what is said is more important than the previous idea. Erotic style is the use of a language style that vulgarly presents the existence of strong scenes and also describes them IDEAS, Vol. 12, No. 1, June 2024 ISSN 2338-4778 (Print) ISSN 2548-4192 (Online) 73 in detail so as to create an erotic sensation in the reader or listener. While personification style is more inclined toward the use of words to humanize an object, whether it is inanimate or alive, it is also often used as a comparison between humans and inanimate objects Reference Adhalina, N.
