The present study initiated in 1970 and completed in 1972 deals with ( 1 ) the influence of root wounds and age of wounds on infection, (2) penetra- tion and de\elopment of the fimgus in susceptible and resistant woody hosts, (3) analysis of the growth response of young tree seedlings after root infec- tion, (4) the influence of temperature and heat treating of soil on develop- ment of V. albo-atrum in excised roots, and (5) laboratory and greenhouse e\'aluation of fungicides against V. albo-atrum.	cache/inhs-150.pdf	txt/inhs-150.txt
