The failure of a defense attorney to conduct voir dire,
make an opening statement, cross-examine the prosecu-
tion's witnesses, present defense witnesses, and make a
closing statement is not sufficient incompetence for ob-

taining relief under Post-Conviction Remedy Rule 1,
if such failure is due to an attorney's misconception of a

single rule of law.
