The journal publishes papers by scholars from different countries and a variety of disciplines who are working in the field of argumentation theory. Up till now, Argumentation concentrated mainly on publishing guest-edited issues, devoted to a specific theme. Now and then Varia Issues were published, consisting of papers sent to the editors. It is the intention of the editors to publish Varia Issues more regularly, i.e. twice a year. We therefore in- vite all scholars of argumentation who want to contribute to the journal to send their manuscripts to the editors, so that they can be refereed ("double-blind"). The editors need five copies of the manuscript; the author should retain an additional copy for reference. Manuscripts should not ex- ceed the limit of 8000 words. An abstract and a list of key-words should be included. Further information for authors is available from Kluwer Academic Publishers, EO. Box 17, 3300 AA Dordrecht, The Neth- erlands. Manuscripts for the Varia Issue should be sent to: Prof. dr F.
