Digital Technology Adaptations in Emergency Response

There are three important elements of Medecins Sans Frontieres (MSF) in the field emergency 
response: 

 
1) Medical innovations (i.e., Mobile Unit Surgical Trailer, MUST, Point of Care 

UltraSonography, POCUS, Anti-microbial Resistance, AMR or other apps et al),  
 
2) Innovations to ensure efficiency (Geographic Information System, GIS/Missing Maps, 

Telemedicine/Remote Operations), and 
 

3) Medical adaptations (where MSF staff are forced to innovate because there are no X-rays, or 
even standard equipment in the hospitals or attacks on medical facilities).
