The AHP/ANP Community Mourns the Loss of Thomas L. Saaty 

 

 

Sadly, we start this issue by announcing the death of the 

creator of the AHP/ANP methodology, Dr. Thomas L. 

Saaty. He was also the founder of this journal aimed at 

spreading AHP/ANP among decision-makers. For those 

who met him and who were lucky to be taken under his 

wing, he will always remain in our hearts and minds as 

Tom, a teacher, a mentor, a beloved friend and probably 

the most unique person that crossed our paths.  We will 

miss him deeply!
