EDITOR’S NOTE 
 

 Due to a large number of accepted submissions and a relatively small backlog of 

submissions pending review, volume 14 of the Journal will consist of only the current issue, 

number 1.  This issue, however, contains nine articles on a wide range of topics.  I hope that you 

will find several of them of interest. 

 If you are considering submitting your work to the Journal, this is an excellent time to do 

so.  The number of submissions pending review is relatively low.  This means that review times 

will likely be short and the probability of acceptance will likely be high.  The acceptance rate for 

the past four years has been approximately 58%. 

 I am also taking this opportunity to thank all those who have served as referees/reviewers 

over the period 2010-2014.  They are listed below in alphabetical order.  I also wish to thank 

Sally Govan of the Jones College of Business at Middle Tennessee State University for her 

assistance with the online publishing of the Journal.
