C February, 1992 A Conference Announcement and Call for Papers The 16th annual SBIDA conference will be held January 29 -February 2, 1992 at the Hyatt Regency-Capitol Hill, Washington, D.C. The conference will include an assort- ment of program activities related to small business and entrepreneurship. The program will consist of competitive paper presentations, plenary sessions, symposia, panels, and workshops. The conference theme is 'Helping Small Businesses Prepare for Global Competi- tion in the Nineties." Conference tracks include Small Business in Global Competition, Legal Issues for Smaller Firms, Successful Financial Operations, Managing Successful Firms, Smaller Firms and the Environment, Entrepreneurship and Trade, Global Management for Smaller Firms, Succussful Marketing in Smaller Firms, Accounting in Smaller Firms, and International Assistance Programs. Track chairs will be announced. Competitive papers, symposia, panels, and workshop proposals are now being solicited on topics related to the respective tracts. Submissions should focus on applied rather than theoretical research. Papers should be submitted by September 13, 1991.
