Theme: ‘Together into the Future’, with an emphasis on 
advances made in the delivery of orthopaedic care
Academic programme: The academic programme includes 
all the SAOA-affiliated specialty groups with both local and 
invited international guest speakers. Topics will cover hip, 
knee, shoulder and elbow, hand, paediatric, foot and ankle, 
trauma, tumour, sepsis and spine surgery while continuing 
to support surgeon wellness and support. There will be 
sessions on ethics and a registrar day.
