Executive Committee of the S.A . S o c ie t y  of 
Physiotherapists.

3. T h e  selected ph ys io th e ra p ist  should have had 
not less than two y e a r s  expe rie nce , and p ref ere nc e 
to be given to those with e xpe ri enc e in o r t h o ­
paedics.

4. T h e  successful applicant must un de rta ke one 
y e a r ’s st udy in or thopaedic institutions over sea s.

5. S e r v i c e  on return to So ut h  A f r i c a  to be three 
y e a r s  at the discretion of the Nat ion al Council for 
the C a re  of Cripples.

6. A n  iti ner y app rov ed  o f  b y  the Na ti on al Council 
for the C ar e  of C ripples to be ad he red  to, and 
a n y  altern ativ e th ereto to be subject to the 
appr ov al of an ap pr ov e d a ut h or it y over sea s.

It seems opportune to mention here tha t the good 
w o rk  done b y  M is s  S u s ie  Oosthuizen, the S o c i e t y ’s 
re pr e se n ta ti ve  on the Na ti on al Council fo r the C a re  
91 Cripples, has been l a r g e ly  ins trume ntal in s ecu ri ng 
this burs ar v.
