Continuing to be Connected When classed ended for winter break, we were still able to travel to visit family and friends, shop, and go to museums and sporting events. What a different a semester makes. How many of us planned to transition our classes, both lectures and labs, online this spring? Our response to a worldwide viral pandemic has required just that. The spring semester has changed K-12, college and university courses as most schools moved face-to-face courses online. Educators everywhere faced the challenge to master web conferencing tools and course management systems and remotely mentor research. The changes have spurred innovation and faculty have found approaches and tools they will retain as they move back into the classroom, whenever that may be. JFSE challenges forensic educators to disseminate best practices, for traditional and online education. We look forward to receiving your submissions once you have had time to reflect upon your work and organize your thoughts into a paper. This issue includes several classroom and laboratory activities, some of which can be modified for online learning. We hope you enjoy the issue and continue reading.
